30 years is a reason to celebrate!
On Tuesday, May 29th, 2007, Batimat unrolled the red carpet for its clients, designers, architects and suppliers to celebrate this memorable event.
To our delight, the upper management, employees and extended members of the Batimat family were all present as it was imperative for Batimat to share with them their 30 years of success!
Thirty memorable years…
Founded in 1977, Batimat, a family-run company, started as a ceramic and tile importer. In 1980, the Company expands to plumbing and bathroom accessories. Seeing the continuous growth of this division in the following years, Batimat decides in 2000, to turn exclusively to this sector targeting unique high-end trendy products of outstanding designs.
With its hard work and client driven approach, Batimat soon becomes the reference in the trade. Its showroom is filled with trendy and high-end baths, showers, faucets and accessories, some of which are imported from France, Italy, Germany and the United States.
On November 30th 2005, Emco Corporation, the largest Canadian distributor of plumbing products, buys Batimat.
With this new association and its 30 years’ experience, the Company, headed by Mr. Robert Calabrese, is now one of the largest Canadian retailers of high-end plumbing products and bathroom accessories.
Today, Batimat shares this success with its employees, suppliers, friends and family members. Batimat recognizes that their support, fidelity and continuing trust are some of the reasons why they can all share and celebrate this historical moment.
